Who We Are
Our Story
Colorado Women in STEM (CWS) was founded by two friends, Tzirath and Arianne, who recognized that existing systems weren't designed to fully support women in STEM, especially women from underrepresented backgrounds. They envisioned something different and set out to create a space rooted in genuine connection, authenticity, and community that goes beyond traditional networking.
CWS brings together women across all STEM disciplines with a deep commitment to uplifting voices from historically marginalized communities. We name the challenges that often go unspoken, show up as our full selves, and draw on our collective experience to create meaningful change. We believe belonging is the foundation of innovation and that diverse perspectives drive discovery.
