    Leadership Opportunities

    Open Roles

    CWS is volunteer-led. These committee chair roles are open and waiting for the right person.

    Media Committee Chair

    ~2–4 hrs/month

    Lead the Media Committee in shaping how CWS shows up online. Responsibilities include social media management, marketing, and graphic design. This is a creative and community-facing role for someone who loves telling a story visually.

    Outreach & Partnerships Committee Member

    ~3–5 hrs/month

    Support the Outreach & Partnerships Committee in building relationships with external organizations and potential sponsors. This role is for someone who is connected, personable, and passionate about expanding CWS's reach in the Colorado STEM community.

    Community Service Committee Member

    ~2–4 hrs/month

    Support the Community Service Committee in identifying and coordinating community-focused initiatives for CWS, including contributing to STEM in Action. This role is for someone who is driven by impact and wants to connect CWS's work to real needs in the community.

    Professional Development Committee Chair

    ~3–5 hrs/month

    Lead the Professional Development Committee in designing and delivering career growth programming for CWS members. Supports the Members Network and Mentorship initiatives. Ideal for someone who is strategic, resourceful, and passionate about lifting others up professionally.
